Greetings to family and friends!

Here I am, waiting for spring to begin again. Daffodils and hyacinths are blooming even though it's been cold. That's a good sign.

I'm still working two nights a week, but things have been turbulent in my office with rumblings of possible layoffs. I guess I'll just wait to hear more definite news before I decide what to do if I lose my job. Probably not nursing. Any ideas for what I should do? I'll need to make some money! :-)

My Israel trip last May was too good for words. I spent three lovely weeks with family and friends and will hold the highlights of my trip in my heart for years to come. I'm terrified at the news from Israel now. As a result of increased suicide bombing in Israel, the IDF has entered the main cities of the West Bank looking for terrorists. I'm really upset at how the US government has responded to this situation. I can't believe the inaction at first and the flip-flop policy second. Doesn't the US have a stand against aggression and terrorism and a need to root them out? Isn't that what the Gulf War was all about? Has the US put the Gulf War and September 11th on a back burner somewhere? *anger* The road to peace can be achieved only by combatting the kind of terrorism that seeks to destroy innocent lives. *praying for peace*

Jose just bought a bobcat!!! I'll be great for him to use in his work. Now he can do excavation in addition to concrete and stone work. By the way, his web site has been a great source of advertisement for us even though I set it up for a lark and didn't think it would result in any jobs.
