For a moist, tasty honey cake (bet you never knew there was
such a thing!)...
In a medium bowl, mix together oil, sugar, brown sugar, honey, vanilla, and eggs. In a large bowl, mix together cocoa, flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients. Mix the wet ingredients and the coffee into the dry ingredients. Add the chocolate chips. Stir well. Pour into a greased 9x12 cake pan and sprinkle the top with almond slivers. Bake ate 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Adapted from a recipe found in The Washington Post . |
